Fiscal Year 2019-2020 Early On GEER Allocations

The Governor designated $1M in Governor’s Emergency Education Relief (GEER) funds for Early On.  These federal funds are being distributed to intermediate school districts based on the Early On funding formula.  Please find attached the allocation list for Early On – GEER – Governor’s Emergency Education Relief funding.  The allocation list can be found here.

Provide personal protective equipment (PPE) for providers and families of children eligible for Early On for use during home visits/service provision (e.g. masks for families, masks with clear mouth area for providers, face shields, hand sanitizer, etc.). These supports must help providers and families return to in-person services.
  2. Program and assessment materials to leave with families to support children between visits (e.g. program materials such as parent printouts and corresponding manipulatives, ASQ screeners, manipulatives to support remote evaluations/assessments). These supports must help children and families adopt or improve remote learning or return to in-person services.
  3. Provide technology/connectivity for families of children eligible for Early On who need to participate in remote services and can’t due to technology barriers (e.g. tablets, hotspots). These supports must help children and families adopt or improve remote learning.
