Transfer of Placement and the latest information on Child Outcomes is reviewed.

The IDEA waiver for Transition from Part C to Part B is discussed with details given on current standing and practice requirements for the field of early childhood. Other topics include guidance on teacher evaluations and a resource from ECTA for remote evaluation. The difference between Compensatory Education and Extended School Year (ESY) services is also highlighted in the context of restarting face-to-face learning.

This video focuses on the MDE guidance, flexibilities and waivers surrounding teacher certification and professional development due to the pandemic. Also Gina Garner from the MDE presents information regarding the changes and implementation timelines for the new teacher certification strands.
