Define Design Do Learn, Plan Do Study Act (PDSA), Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI).  What you call it isn’t as important as how you do it.  Learn a little history of each and the importance of effective implementation. And the beauty of its simplicity. No research study required.  It’s a process that can be done at any time with any issue. We’ll share some examples.  
 
This webinar will be provided by Kathy Szenda Wilson and Maria Borden from BC Pulse. 
 

Kathy Szenda Wilson brings over 20 years of experience in philanthropy, community development, and systems building to her efforts to improve lives of children and their families. She is the Founder & current Co-Executive Director of BC Pulse. She currently serves as Battle Creek's Ward 4 City Commissioner.  Her strengths include facilitation, coaching, storytelling, training, empathy and weaving together seemingly disconnected things.

  • Michigan ACE Initiative Certified Master Trainer

Maria Ortiz Borden brings over 20 years of experience in fund development, program development + management, building organizational sustainability + capacity. She is currently Co-Executive Director of BC Pulse. Maria has a passion for working with organizations and institutions to improve the outcomes for children and families.

  • Trained anti-racism/anti-bias facilitator + organizer (YWCA, CrossRoads/ERACCE, and The Truth & Titus Collective)
  • Leadership That Works’ Certified Community Coach

Specialties:

  • Consultation + Facilitation on racial justice efforts, systemic racism, increasing cultural competency, promote racial healing
  • System Building (ABLe Change Framework, System exChange, Michigan State University)
