2020 Transition

This training will provide participants with an understanding of the legal requirements for transitioning children out of Early On^® as well as methods and procedures which will assist in making this process family friendly.

The procedural safeguards that are utilized and a sequence for making easeful transitions will be discussed. The development of transition outcomes will also be addressed.

This training will focus on the best practices and regulations regarding the transition from Early On (Part C & MMSE) to Preschool Special Education (Part B 619). Particular attention will be afforded to the process of discussing and determining the least restrictive educational setting for children as they move from Early Intervention to Early Childhood Special Education.
