During this 5-part webinar series, early intervention (EI) service providers, service coordinators, and leaders will be actively engaged in interactive conversations designed to build awareness of EI service delivery as a “practice” requiring reflection and ongoing professional growth. A balanced perspective to facilitating learning for both caregivers and children during visits will be at the heart of all discussions. We will get grounded in the fundamentals of EI practice, explore how adult learning principles connect to caregiver (and child) support, consider tips and strategies for gathering meaningful information from families, and use what we learn to write meaningful IFSP outcomes. We will end the series with time to reflect on how balanced intervention is provided. This series will offer you a regular opportunity to pause and reflect on what you do during visits and how that influences what families do between visits, when most of the intervention really occurs.
