This training will provide an informative overview of the foundational aspects of Early On and is a complement to the required Essentials of Early On modules. It will support understanding of IDEA requirements and the Early On Michigan Part C of IDEA State Plan while giving opportunity to reflect on local policies and processes. As a comprehensive overview of Michigan’s early intervention system, this session is designed as both a foundational course for newer staff and a compliance refresher for seasoned professionals. Topics include: Procedural Safeguards, the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) process, Transitions, the Referral process, Eligibility requirements and resources, and the provision of services within natural environments.
This is virtual statewide training.
