Evaluation 101: Best Practices in Early Intervention Evaluation and Assessment, provides a guide for early intervention providers to master foundational skills for conducting accurate, family-friendly, and comprehensive evaluations. Participants will learn to integrate core principles, including family-centered and individualized approaches, into their practice and explore the role of the multidisciplinary team in understanding a child's development. The training focuses on selecting and administering appropriate assessment tools and using observation in natural environments to gather meaningful data. By enhancing skills in interpreting results and communicating with families, this session empowers providers to ensure every evaluation is a positive, collaborative, and ethical experience.
