Although it is only two years old, its easy-to-use touch screen and thousands of inexpensive apps make it a popular device for young children and those with disabilities. This session will explore a range of resources and strategies for implementing these amazing devices into early childhood. Learn how an iPad or other tablet device can be a dynamic tool within an early childhood program as well as in the home. We will discuss the benefits and barriers as well as fundraising, research, accessories, and of course, applications and where to find them.
