This training will provide participants with an understanding of the legal requirements for transitioning children out of Early On® as well as methods and procedures which will assist in making this process family friendly. This training does not address the IDEA Part C 2011 regulations. These regulations are available on our website. Policies and procedures are currently being developed for Michigan Early On®. As soon as updates and guidance for Transition are available edits will be made to the presentation.
The procedural safeguards that are utilized and a sequence for making easeful transitions will be discussed. The development of transition outcomes will also be addressed.
